Hyundai's latest tuner-focused R-Spec trim level for its 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is making its official bow at SEMA. The R-Spec package is priced $3000 cheaper than a performance-tuned 2.0T Track for a grand total of $23,750, thanks to deletions of a few amenities. The R-Spec package is already available for order at dealerships nationwide.

Like the 2.0T and 3.8 Track that we've come to know so well, the R-Spec gets the brand's full onslaught of enthusiast parts like bigger, 13.4-in front/13.0-in. rear Brembo brakes, a sport-tuned suspension, bigger 25 mm front/22 mm rear anti-roll bars, a Torsen limited slip differential, and 19-in. wheels wrapped in stickier Bridgestone Potenza RE050 rubber. R-Specs get extra front strut camber adjustment bolts to better tune front grip.
Engineers deemed Bluetooth, cruise control, trip computer, chrome interior accents, and steering wheel stereo controls non-essential items to be cut in the name of weight and cost reduction. Customers will find their R-Spec can only come in three colors -- Karussell White, Bathurst Black, and Tsukuba Red -- and with the same 210-hp 2.0L four-cylinder turbo mated to a six-speed manual that's currently available.
